Summary: | In this study, bright and red–emitting YVO4:Eu3+ phosphor nanostructures were synthesized by simple combustion method using aniline, hydrazine, triethylamine and urea as fuels. The applied fuels possessed a significant influence on the phosphors morphology and luminescence properties. It was found that hydrazine and aniline provide, respectively, the smallest and largest particle sizes of YVO4:Eu3+ phosphors. In addition, the highest photoluminescence emission intensity was achieved through applying aniline. |
