Summary: | We report a study of the fabrication of aqueous nanoparticle dispersions from metallo-phthalocyanine solutions. Furthermore, we examine these nanoparticles using transmission electron and atomic force microscopy (TEM and AFM, respectively). Linear absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy are employed to characterise the novel nanoparticles. Finally, we demonstrate a significant improvement in their nonlinear optical dissipative response compared to dissolved solutions of the same phthalocyanines. |
