Summary: | Recent research focuses the Combined application of degradable packaging and economical approach of waste-to-value method. This work deal investigates the use of eggshell-derived Calcium Oxide (CaO) as a strengthening agent in PVA/Chitosan (PVA/Chi) composite films the resulting changes in their physicochemical properties and its impact on plant growth after disposal. The study examines water resistance, mechanical and thermal stability, and degrading features of the films based on the PVA/Chi ratio and CaO loading. The incorporation of nanofiller improves water resistance and strength with CaO loading upto 10 mg loading then declined by agglomeration. The optimal formulation is 1% PVA with 0.10% Chitosan and 10 mg of CaO loading. The study also investigates disposal and degradation issues with single-use plastic, focusing on direct solid and water dissolved disposal methods and the effects of dissolved composites on plant growth. Response surface methods are used to examine the relationship between parameters and their reactions to the film.
