Description
Summary:The purpose of this study was to compare the color stability of two different resin nanoceramic CAD/CAM restorative materials and a posterior hybrid resin composite when immersed in different beverages. Two different resin nano-ceramics (i.Lava Ultimate, 3M ESPE, USA, ii.Cerasmart, GC, Leuven, Belgium) and a posterior hybrid composite (Rok, SDI, Victoria, Australia) were selected for this study. Twenty samples of 2 mm in thickness were prepared from each material and the samples were randomly divided into 2 subgroups. Samples were immersed in coffee or tea solutions that were refreshed daily. Color measurements were performed by a spectrophotometry (Vita Easyshade V; VITA Zahnfabrik) over a neutral background. CIEL* a* b* color scale were recorded at baseline, 1st (D1), 7th (D7) day. Color changes (ΔE) were calculated and statitically analyzed. Significant differences were found between the mean ΔE values of the groups after one and seven days of immersion (p
