Description
Summary:The efficiency of an organizational structure as a separate part of manufacturing management of a company (a factory, a bank, etc.) depends on many factors, some not representing quantitative variables. Modern efficiency evaluation approaches mostly deal with quantitative factors and evaluations are made in the context of other parts of management, e.g., planning, controlling, and budgeting. But sometimes it is necessary to evaluate an organizational structure autonomously, when it is available only the limited information about structure: the numbers of hierarchical levels and the subjects on each level. This paper focuses on autonomous approach. It is based on the questions-criteria hierarchy constructed using fundamental laws. Some experimental results are presented.
