Description
Summary:Decomposition and decentralization of diagnosis in large scale systems decrease the need for computational and communication resources, and can speed up the overall diagnosis process. Local diagnosers are simpler and easier to build and understand. In this paper we propose simple method for diagnostic system decomposition, minimizing interconnections between subsystems. The method is based in qualitative, graph description of the diagnosed process and diagnosis system, therefore it can be applied when an analytical process description is hard to obtain.
