Scientific literature highlights the benefits of promoting the socio-emotional competencies (SEC) of university students in the socio-educational and health fields. These competencies can improve both the personal well-being of the professionals, as well as their job success in providing effective service to end users. We have planned a scoping review that aims to identify the main characteristics and results of the strategies that have been used to date to assess and promote university students' SEC in these fields. We will search for studies on SEC measures, interventions and correlates in four bibliographic databases and grey literature sources. This scoping review can yield valuable insights for the design, implementation, and evaluation of new strategies to promote SEC in university education. |
