Summary: | Magnesium Oxide nanoparticles (MgO NPs) ablated on porous silicon (PS) substrate using Laser pulse ablation technique with different preparation conditions. The preparation samples offer sponge-like structure of PS and crystalline MgONPs structure with a bright spot inside PS. MgO NPs/PS perform improvement in the photoconversion efficiency properties, that are represented as decrease reflectivity, and enhancement in both of the responsivity and quantum efficiency. Therefore, MgONPs/PS can be used as a photodetector operated over broadband spectral of wavelength. |
