Summary: | We report on an all-fiber single frequency pulsed laser at 1030 nm in a master oscillator power amplifier system. The pulsed seed was achieved through an acoustic-optic modulator driven by an arbitrary waveform generator. The seed pulse was pre-shaped to mitigate the SBS effect by balancing the dynamic gain saturation in the active fiber. With 30 μm core diameter PLMA fiber amplification, 206 μJ, 500 ns with a fixed repetition rate of 1 kHz was obtained. The linewidth was measured to be 1.73 MHz, which indicates a near transform-limited single frequency source. |
