Passively mode-locked composite erbium fiber laser with a pulse repetition rate of 150 MHz

We demonstrate a short cavity passively mode-locked composite erbium-doped fiber laser with saturable absorber based on aerosol-synthesized single-walled carbon nanotubes. Optical pulses had a duration of 973 fs while an average output power – 6 mW. Using a shortened laser cavity, a stable soliton g...

Description
Summary:We demonstrate a short cavity passively mode-locked composite erbium-doped fiber laser with saturable absorber based on aerosol-synthesized single-walled carbon nanotubes. Optical pulses had a duration of 973 fs while an average output power – 6 mW. Using a shortened laser cavity, a stable soliton generation with a pulse repetition rate of 150 MHz at the output of the all-fiber linear cavity was obtained.
