Summary: | In this paper, Lakshmanan-Porsezian-Daniel (LPD) model is investigated. Using a travelling wave transformation, the LPD model is transformed into two nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) which are equivalent for a specific form of the source term of nonlinearity of the model. These two ODEs are solved by a direct reduction into a first order ODE with known solutions. Finally, we obtained generalized solutions for the LPD model in the form of Jacobi elliptic functions. Also, we obtained new bright soliton, dark soliton and w- soliton solutions for the LPD model. |
