For the first time, Ga2O3-ZnO (GaZn) Nanocomposites (NCs) were synthesized by Green’s method using Aeglemarmelos fruit extract as a reducing agent via solution combustion method. Bragg’s reflection clearly confirms the formation of monoclinic and hexagonal Wurtzite structure of Ga2O3 and ZnO nanoparticles respectively. The crystallite size calculated by Scherrer’s method was found to be 21 nm. The agglomerated, irregular shape and sized NCs are observed in surface morphology. The direct band gap energy was calculated using Wood and Tauc’s plot which was found to be 3.1 eV. Photoluminescence emission spectra of GaZn NCs recorded at 350 nm consist of broad emission spectra with different sharp emission peaks overlapped over the broad spectra. CIE and CCT coordinates confirm the intense blue emission of synthesized NCs. Further, the synthesized NCs are analyzed for latent fingerprint (LPF) in the field of forensic application.
