Summary:Dr. rer.nat. Clemens Schlosser, a physicist by training, well known to the German and international scientific community for his contributions to the monitoring of environmental radioactivity and especially the radionuclide component of the International Monitoring System, passed away on August 2, 2021 after a long and brave battle with ALS. Even during the last years, during which his illness compromised his strength, he devoted all the time possible to his life's work that was so close to his heart.
