The addition of (CF 3SO 2) 2CHBr to vinylidene fluoride

It has been found that a mixture of (CF 3SO 2) 2CH 2 and (CF 3SO 2) 2CBr 2 can be used instead of (CF 3SO 2) 2CHBr in the radical addition to H 2C CF 2; the 1:1 and 1:2 adducts have been isolated and characterized. An improved synthesis of (CF 3SO 2) 2CBr 2 is also reported. A mixture of (CF 3SO 2)...

New 1:1 and 1:2 adducts have been isolated and characterized. In addition, an improved synthesis of (CF 3SO 2) 2Br 2 has been found. ▪
