Description
Summary:A continuum steady-state model of oxygen transport in the brain is studied. The unique solvability of the corresponding nonlinear boundary-value problem is proven. The convergence of a simple iterative procedure for finding solutions of the boundary-value problem is established. Numerical experiments showing the consistency of the model are conducted.
