Dielectric–magnetic bidirectional regulation of magnetic MXene for excellent microwave absorption performance

MXene is an excellent microwave absorption (MA) material and it has been widely studied in recent years. However, MXene is a single dielectric loss material and it is difficult to effectively control its electromagnetic (EM) parameters to improve the MA performance. Thus, in the present study, Fe3O4...

Description
Summary:MXene is an excellent microwave absorption (MA) material and it has been widely studied in recent years. However, MXene is a single dielectric loss material and it is difficult to effectively control its electromagnetic (EM) parameters to improve the MA performance. Thus, in the present study, Fe3O4/Ti3C2Tx MXene (F/T) composite was fabricated by using the solvothermal method. The microwave absorbing property of the F/T composite was effectively improved by doping with a small amount of Fe3O4. In particular, the 5 F/T composite (F/T mass ratio of 5:30) with a thickness of 2.75 mm obtained the minimum reflection loss of −58.1 dB and the corresponding bandwidth (
