Summary: | The main objective is to propose a project management method for implementing storage systems. This work applies a literature analysis of previous initiatives for implementing new generation sources and issuing energy storage systems. This analysis allows classifying advantages and barriers of the electricity sector and proposes manageable actions over time. A study of a service station is performed as a case study, and a storage system is deployed for a real customer connected at a medium voltage level in Brazil.
