Alumothermic self-propagating high-temperature synthesis was used for obtaining 2Nb-1Si-1C composite material. The morphology, structure and phase composition of the composite were studied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. It was found that γ- Nb5Si3, NbC, NbSi2 phases were formed in the sample. |
