Summary: | Lead metaniobate (PbNb2O6) is an important high Curie Temperature, T(Curie), piezoelectric material. Novel substitution as per the formula 0.963PbNb2O6 – 0.037Ca0.6TiO3 showed orthorhombic piezoelectric phase. Differential Scanning Calorimetry and investigation of properties like capacitance (C), resistance (R), relaxation time of the equivalent CR circuit, AC and DC conductivities, and related activation energies from Impedance Spectroscopy have been carried out. |
