Summary: | We report on an experimental procedure to grown high quality Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O8+δ (Bi-2212) single crystals using a reduced amount (10g) of chemical reagents. The crystalline structure and superconducting transition of samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), resistivity and dc magnetic measurements. The experimental results show that the single crystals are single phase with a sharp superconducting transition and optimal critical temperature, TC. |
