Description
Summary:Semi-organic non-linear optical DL-methionine doped copper sulphate pentahydrate crystals (MCS) were grown by solvent evaporation method. The storage and dissipation of electric energy in the crystal was analyzed. Real part (ε’) and imaginary part (ε”) of relative permittivity were calculated in the temperature range 313K to 373K at different fixed frequencies. The dependence of inherent dissipation of electrical energy (tanδ), real and imaginary part of absolute permittivity and ac conductivity with respect to the temperature and the frequency of the applied field is reported
