Description
Summary:Cladding is the most sorted technique to impart mechanical properties to any material according to application. In material improvement cladding is assisting in two main functions, Firstly to improve the properties of the material those are dependent on the surface like wear resistance under conditions like corrosion, abrasion and erosion. Secondly bulk dependent properties like strength, hardness and many more. Components having cladding are relatively more capable to serve any unambiguous task in adversary surrounding for a comparatively long time. Gas Metal Arc Welding along with other processes of cladding is discussed in this article. The properties like anti- corrosiveness, Physiognomies and microstructure are included in this paper along with diverse distinct practices that we can use to clad an object through GMAW. Various process constraints are taken and their effect on anti-corrosive and structural properties of the GMAW cladded part is studied.
