Description
Summary:Composites of metal matrix are classed as one of the most popular composite material types. In a broad spectrum of applications, heat characterization of hybrid metal matrix composites has become progressively essential, because almost all metal matrix composites are used in different temperature ranges. It is essential to assess the heat characteristics of metal matrix composites (MMCs) as a variable of temperature to understand the conduct of substance. It’s most important characteristics of (MMCs) are the heat diffusivity, thermal conductivity, coefficient of heat expansion. Stir casting method was being used to make hybrid composites of Al7475 reinforced with silicon carbide (10 wt% maintain constant), varying Graphite particles (3, 6, 9 wt%). A heat analysis between 50 °C and 300 °C was performed. The results stated that the thermal conductivity of the various parts of the hybrid metal matrix composites reduces with the blend of SiC and Graphite (Gr). Hybrid MMCs heat conduction with distinct ratio reinforcement materials has been investigated with increasing tendency in hardness and tensile strength with increased Quantity of material with graphite.
