Description
Summary:[Display omitted] •The uracil-containing oligo changed the enzyme kinetics of DNA polymerase.•The uracil-containing oligo reduced non-specific amplification.•This method improved the detection limit of EXPAR.•This method enhanced the distinguishability of EXPAR. Exponential amplification reaction (EXPAR) has the advantages of high detection sensitivity and short detection time, but it also has the problem of high background signal. In this paper, we innovatively added the uracil-containing oligo that could inhibit the non-specific activity of Vent (exo-) DNA polymerase to increase the detection effect of EXPAR.
