Summary:The health care system is in a paradigm shift as it emerges from the global pandemic. The financial, workforce, and technology that supported care in years past are transforming, and this liminal season is the perfect time for experimentation and risk-taking. As previous structures and ways of working are crumbling, increasing labor expenses from contingent labor, and the entry of big technology companies such as Amazon as competition to existing health systems. Nurses have the opportunity to transform each aspect of how they work and experience the profession through purpose driven work the drive transformation.
