Summary: | Taking industrial pure aluminum as the research object, the melt flow rate of the aluminum is controlled by the layered casting method, and the influence of the change in electromagnetic parameters on the melt flow rate is balanced. By combining numerical simulations, solidification experiments and theoretical analysis, the joint effects of grain movement and Joule heat are investigated. The results show that an increase in the distance of grain motion facilitates grain crossing of the boundary layer and promotes grain refinement; moreover, the Joule heat generated during the action of the pulsed magnetic field inhibits the formation of grains. In this paper, the phenomenon of grain coarsening under a large pulsed magnetic field is quantitatively analyzed through the synergistic mechanism of grain motion and Joule heat.
