Description
Summary:Nano structured, Dysprosium doped Zinc oxide were synthesized by coprecipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and photoluminescence (PL) were performed to characterize the morphology, growth and optical nature of the samples. Some rod and particle like morphology of zinc oxide has been observed by scanning electron microscopy. The particle size was found to vary from 8–25 nm. The room temperature PL spectra exhibits emission peak at 481 nm, 525 nm and weak red emission band around 622 nm. [Display omitted]
