BEAMDULAC code for numerical simulation of 3D beam dynamics in a high-intensity undulator linac
The concept of a linear accelerator (linac) without a synchronous wave from an RF field has previously been suggested. Summary: | The concept of a linear accelerator (linac) without a synchronous wave from an RF field has previously been suggested. This concept has been implemented in an innovative type of linac called a linear undulator accelerator. Comprehensive analytical and numerical studies of the beam dynamics resulted in the complete structure design for two versions of the undulator accelerator. The key results of these investigations are discussed in this paper. |
