Description
Summary:The results of natW(p,xn)181;182m,g;183;184m,g;186Re reaction cross sections at the external proton beam of cyclotron C18/18 are presented. The excitation functions for the above mentioned radionuclides have been measured by the stacked-foil activation technique on high purity tungsten foils of natural isotopic composition. Due to the stacked-foil technique, measurements were performed for different proton energies from corresponding reaction thresholds up to 18 MeV. The spectrometric analyses of irradiated materials have been done by the High Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector. For all reactions, theoretical calculations of the excitation functions were calculated by TALYS 1.95 and EMPIRE 3.2 nuclear reaction codes. The obtained experimental results are compared with the theoretical models as well as with the available experimental data.
