Summary: | Basal cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor of locally aggressive epithelial origin, commonly located in the region of the upper lip, nasal, forehead, and buccal region. It has slow growth and low tendency to metastasis. The indicated treatment consists of the surgical excision of the lesion. The present study aims to report the case of a female patient of 80 years old, who had upper lip lesion with a 6-month evolution, with exophytic form, without painful symptoms. |
