Summary:Based on the theory of industrial ecology, the connotation of comprehensive utilization of energy in iron & steel industry was analyzed and the he importance of comprehensive utilization of energy was expounded in terms of resources-conversion and environment-protection. Recovery approaches of secondary energy in iron & steel industry were studied. Finally, the paper put forward some advices of energy policy through analyzed problems of old policy system of the industry in our country.
