Description
Summary:This work is a study of natural pozzolans as basic components in building materials. It is intended to highlight the thermal advantage of these materials. It is economically advantageous to the pozzolan used in lightweight concrete compositions as a mixture of aggregate pozzolan which provides mechanical strength that complies with current standards. The impact of humidity on the apparent thermal conductivity of concrete pozzolan considered as a porous material requires the best description of the phenomena which surrounds the heat transfer of different phases (liquid- solid-and air). The use of mixed model extended to three phases as a prediction of the thermal conductivity, highlights the importance of the liquid phase
