Description
Summary:•The transport properties are discussed in a serial double QD-TSQW system.•The transmission shows different lead-polarization and QD- TSQW coupling.•The differential conductance shows Fano line under different QD-TSQW coupling.•The obtained results can help to understand the properties of QD-TSQW system. We consider a serial double quantum dots coupled to the ends of two topological superconducting quantum wires hosting Majorana bound states. We compute the explicit transmission property and differential conductance by the nonequilibrium Green's function method. The transmission property shows different lead-polarization line with the variable dot Majorana coupling and phase threading on the system. It is also shown that the Fano line of the differential conductance is observed with the changing dot Majorana coupling and phase of the system. However, the spin polarization does not affect its Fano characteristic of the differential conductance. It is believed that the results can help to better understand the properties of Majorana bound states and their interplay with quantum dots.
