Summary: | We study a three coupled wave system which includes the vector Hirota equations and three-wave resonant interaction equations. Using the Darboux-Dressing transformation, we obtain the rational and semi-rational (mixed rational-exponential) vector solutions of such system on the finite backgrounds and mixed backgrounds for the purpose of modeling rogue waves. Besides, we show the dynamics of vector solitons to this three coupled wave system.
