Summary: | Mg-MOF74 is known as one of the best Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) materials for CO2 adsorption and separation due to strong interactions of their unsaturated metal sites with CO2. In this work, Mg- and Co-MOF74 were investigated for the first time with respect to CO2 sensing and the possible gas interactions with MOFs were discussed. Furthermore, the cross sensitivity to ethanol and acetone was tested. The different sensing behavior towards CO2 and ethanol was observed allowing the differentiation of these gases. |
