Summary: | Erection of buildings and constructions on seismically dangerous territories is closely connected with the problem of the dynamic stability of the ground base. The world's experience shows that the dynamic liquefaction is the most destructive result of the earthquake effect. Geological and hydro geological structure of the soil predetermines the probability and intensity of the process. We can’t always exclude the possibility of this negative process on the basis of special dynamic laboratory and field testing's. The article suggests the basic information on the process of dynamic liquefaction as well as a brief review of the existing Russian and foreign measures to protect buildings and constructions against the dynamic liquefaction of soils. We also provide the data whether the methods under discussion are applicable and effective. |
