Summary:In this paper we develop a rectangular finite element use for the dynamic analysis of a multibody system with elastic elements. We consider a membrane type rectangular element for this study. The motion equation for one single element is obtained and can be used in case of plate structures that need to be discretized in finite elements in finite element analysis. The paper continues previous researches of the authors in the domain.
