Thermal treatment influence on radiative recombination center stability in ZnSe(X) crystals

This work deals with the influence of thermal treatment in an atmosphere of zinc vapors at T = 1250 K on the radioluminescence spectrum, optical transmission in the range of 450–700 nm, and micro-hardness of ZnSe(X) crystals ( X = Te or O partially substituting for Se). The results of our investigat...

Description
Summary:This work deals with the influence of thermal treatment in an atmosphere of zinc vapors at T = 1250 K on the radioluminescence spectrum, optical transmission in the range of 450–700 nm, and micro-hardness of ZnSe(X) crystals ( X = Te or O partially substituting for Se). The results of our investigations support the fact that the thermodynamic stability of V Zn Zn I O Se complex is lower than that of Zn I V Zn Te Se complex.
