Summary: | Agent based platforms provide a means for creating applications that run independently of operating system and network architecture; as a result, agents have become part of many systems and support a large number of interactions between different systems. Lately due to a shift to mobile computing paradigms, lightweight platforms, mainly oriented for resource constrained devices have emerged. To this end it is important to identify the load and to measure the performance of agent systems with appropriate benchmarks that provide details to direct future implementations. |
