Summary: | A generation of magnetic field under application of thermal gradient in a twisted carbon nanotube (analog of Zavaritskii effect) is theoretically discussed. The analytical expression for twist angle dependence of the induced thermomagnetic field is obtained. The estimates of the model parameters suggest quite an optimistic possibility to experimentally realize the predicted effect.
