Rubicordins A–C, new cyclopeptides from Rubia cordifolia with cytotoxicity and inhibiting NF-κB signaling pathway
Three new cyclic hexapeptides, named as rubicordins A–C (1–3), together with seven known ones (4–10) were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Rubia cordifolia. Summary: | Three new cyclic hexapeptides, named as rubicordins A–C (1–3), together with seven known ones (4–10) were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Rubia cordifolia. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis, and the cytotoxic and NF-κB signaling pathway activities were tested. The results indicated that 1–10 showed cytotoxicity against SGC-7901, A549 or Hela cancer cell lines, and 1–3 inhibited NF-κB signaling pathway.
