Description
Summary:Phosphorous compounds are one of most important class of ligands that are used in synthesis, catalysis and other processes. The coarse adjustment of electrodonative character of phosphorous can be done by switching to phosphonates or phosphinates with consecutive transformation. However fine tuning of phosphorous atom by variation of adjacent functional groups might be a serious problem due to reactivity of those. An alternative introduction of aromatic and vinylic groups can be done by P–C coupling reactions. Here I'd like to present a brief overview of published catalytic systems. [Display omitted]
