Synthesis and characterization of chiral enantiopure bis-chromanones: a Baylis–Hillman approach
Enantiopure bis-chromanones were prepared from ( S)-Binol and bromo esters via a Baylis–Hillman approach. Chiroptical studies indicate that the two-naphthyl units of the chromanone system are non-coplanar.
