Description
Summary:The aim of this work is to resolve the urgent problem of building an urban monitoring system which monitors in real time emissions of pollutants from automobile traffic flows. Analysis of the initial data showed a statistically significant division of traffic lanes into homogeneous clusters. A comparative analysis of pollutant emissions was carried out for the three selected clusters with regard to two typical types of traffic at the intersection: free passage without stopping; and uniform acceleration after a complete stop at the stop line. This approach will significantly reduce the load on the computing units and practically implement a dynamic emission monitoring system based on the processing of data from street surveillance cameras.
