Description
Summary:Involving users in the process of developing future mobility solutions is a key requirement in research and innovation. In the project Drive2theFuture, we investigate how user acceptance of connected, cooperative and automated transport can be achieved for all stakeholders. To investigate and understand user behavior for automated transport solutions, we propose a software toolkit to co-develop Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) together with users. It enables HMI researchers to rapidly prototype, experience and evaluate novel HMI concepts for the transport modes road, rail, aviation and maritime by providing a library of HMI elements and recommendations, features for HMI personalization and a model to predict user's emotional state. Its application is suited for the development and experience of concepts in 2D or Virtual Reality (VR).
