Locating the eggs of Aedes vexans (Mg.) (Diptera: Culicidae)

A procedure is described whereby, by the use of appropriate statistical methods, the approximate vertical distribution of the eggs of Aedes vexans (Mg.) in a pool can be ascertained from a relatively few samples taken without any previous knowlwdge of their position.
