Reactions that model the first stage of oligomer formation also have been studied, and the molecular species (Me{sub 3}N{sub 3}B{sub 3}(Me{sub 2})){sub 2}NH, (Me{sub 3}N{sub 3}B{sub 3}(Me{sub 2})){sub 2}NMe, (Me{sub 3}N{sub 3}B{sub 3}(Me{sub 2})){sub 2}S, and (Me{sub 3}N{sub 3}B{sub 3}(Me{sub 2})){sub 2}O have been isolated and characterized. Single-crystal x-ray diffraction analyses for these compounds have been completed. |
