Solubility of Minoxidil in Methanol, Ethanol, 1-Propanol, 2-Propanol, 1-Butanol, and Water from (278.15 to 333.15) K
The solubility of minoxidil in pure methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, and water was measured at temperatures ranging from (278.15 to 333.15) K by a gravimetrical method. The experimental data were well-correlated as a function of temperature using the Apelblat equation. At the sa...

Summary: | The solubility of minoxidil in pure methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, and water was measured at temperatures ranging from (278.15 to 333.15) K by a gravimetrical method. The experimental data were well-correlated as a function of temperature using the Apelblat equation. At the same temperature, the mole fraction solubility decreases in the order: methanol > 1-propanol > 1-butanol > ethanol > 2-propanol > water. |
