Bimetallic Intermediates in the Formation of Nucleophilic Allenylzincs from Allenylpalladiums: A DFT Study
According to DFT calculations, allenyl transfer from Pd to Zn may take place through intermediate bimetallic Pd−Zn complexes and be facilitated by the intermetallic link. The resulting bimetallic allenylzinc species display typical nucleophilic behavior in carbonyl addition reactions.
