This, however, does not show the non-existence of complex ions containing nickel or cobalt and pyrophosphate ion in solution. I have investigated complex formation in solution by different physico-chemical methods such as thermometric, transport, conductometric, p H measurements, cryoscopy in saturated sodium sulphate solutions and magnetic measurements.
